Ingredients for Rolled Cinnabon Cake:

Rolled Cinnabon Cake

For the Dough:

  • 4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder
  • ¼ cup of powdered milk
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of sunflower oil
  • 1½ cups of warm water

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup of melted butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • ¼ cup of cinnamon

For the Sauce:

  • ½ can of sweetened condensed milk

Steps to Prepare Rolled Cinnabon Cake:

  1. Preparing the Dough:
In a stand mixer, combine 3 cups of flour, yeast, baking powder, salt, powdered milk, and sugar. Attach the dough hook and mix on low speed for a few seconds to combine the ingredients.

  2. Mixing the Dough:
Gradually add the oil and warm water while mixing on medium speed. Continue mixing for a few minutes until a soft and smooth dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, gradually add a little more flour until it becomes firm. Once ready, remove the dough from the mixer, place it in an oiled bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes until it doubles in size.

  3. Preparing the Filling:
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon until well combined to form a smooth filling.

  4. Rolling the Dough:
Once the dough has risen, divide it into four equal portions and shape each portion into a ball. Roll out each ball into a circle using a rolling pin. Set the rolled dough circles aside.

  5. Layering the Dough and Filling:
On the first dough circle, spread a layer of the cinnamon filling. Place the second dough circle on top and repeat the process, alternating layers of dough and filling until all the dough and filling are used. Once layered, roll the stack of dough out slightly to flatten it.

  6. Shaping the Cake:
Grease a large bundt pan with butter. Roll the layered dough stack lengthwise to form a long log, pressing it lightly to seal the layers. Place the log into the bundt pan, forming a ring. Press the ends together to seal the ring. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and let the dough rise again in a warm place for 60 minutes.

  7. Baking the Cake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Once the dough has risen, place the bundt pan in the middle rack of the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until the cake turns a light golden brown.

  8. Finishing the Cake:
Remove the cake from the oven and immediately pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top, ensuring an even distribution. Serve the cake warm.

Your delicious rolled Cinnabon cake is now ready to be enjoyed! Perfect for family gatherings or as a sweet morning treat. Bon appétit!
