Ingredients for Cheese-Filled Kibbeh Dessert:
- 1 cup of semolina
- ½ cup of white flour
- ¾ cup of warm liquid milk
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar
- ¼ cup of corn oil
- Kiri cheese (as needed for filling)
- Sugar syrup (for dipping, as needed)
- Vegetable oil (for frying, as needed)
Instructions for Making Cheese-Filled Kibbeh Dessert:
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the semolina, white flour, baking powder, warm milk, powdered sugar, and corn oil.
Mix all the ingredients well until you achieve a smooth, cohesive dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
Take each ball, create a small cavity, and fill it with a piece of Kiri cheese. Close the dough around the cheese, rolling it back into a ball.
Repeat the process until all the dough is used.
Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil and fry the kibbeh balls until they are golden and cooked through.
