Ingredients for Charlotte Cake
- 44 ladyfinger biscuits.
- 1 cup of frozen raspberries.
- 1 cup of frozen strawberries.
- 1 cup of water.
- ½ cup of white sugar.
- 1 packet of strawberry-flavored jelly.
- 2 sheets of gelatin, dissolved in a small amount of water.
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, dissolved in a small amount of water.
- 300 grams of liquid cream.
- 4 packets of vanilla.
- 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
- 300 grams of cream cheese (Philadelphia).
- Strawberry juice, as needed.
Preparation Method
Step 1: Prepare the Berry Mixture
- In a saucepan, combine the frozen strawberries, raspberries, white sugar, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Stir in the jelly packet, followed by the dissolved gelatin, mixing continuously until fully incorporated.
- Reduce the heat, add 2 packets of vanilla and the dissolved cornstarch, and stir until the mixture thickens.
- Remove the mixture from heat, blend it well with an electric mixer, and set it aside to cool.
Step 2: Prepare the Cream Filling
- In a separate bowl, whip the liquid cream with 2 packets of vanilla and powdered sugar until fluffy and smooth.
- Add the cream cheese to the whipped cream and mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined.
