  • 10 mussels, soaked in cold water.
  • 200 grams of shrimp.
  • 100 grams of squid, cut into rings.
  • 2 medium lemons, juiced.
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced.
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Salt, to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Chopped green onion, to taste.
  • ½ stalk of celery, finely chopped.
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cardamom.
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, mixed with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  • 1 cup of liquid cooking cream.
  • 1½ cups of hot water.

Preparation Method

Step 1: Marinate the Seafood

  1. Place the seafood (mussels, shrimp, squid) in a bowl. Marinate with lemon juice, olive oil, and a pinch of black pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Step 2: Sauté the Aromatics

  1. In a suitable pot, heat the butter and olive oil mixture over medium heat. Add the finely chopped celery and green onion, stirring occasionally until softened.

Step 3: Cook the Seafood

  1. Add the marinated seafood to the pot. Mix well with the sautéed vegetables.

Step 4: Season and Simmer

  1. Season with black pepper, salt, and ground cardamom. Pour in the hot water and bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 5: Add the Cream

  1. Once the seafood begins to cook, pour in the liquid cooking cream. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until all the ingredients are fully cooked.
