Ingredients for Preparing Brownies with Ice Cream:

Brownies with Ice Cream

  • 1½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of butter
  • ¾ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup of small chocolate chips
  • 1 liter of vanilla-flavored ice cream
  • 1½ cups of crushed walnuts
  • ½ cup of crushed hazelnuts

For Chocolate Sauce:

  • 150 grams of chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • A pinch of salt
  • 6 tablespoons of water

Steps to Prepare Brownies with Ice Cream:

  1. Preparing the Baking Pan:
Line a square baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside for later use.

  2. Preparing the Brownie Batter:
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
Next, in a medium-sized pot, fill it about two-thirds with water and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Place a large bowl containing butter and cocoa powder over the boiling pot, and stir with a whisk until the butter is fully melted and the cocoa is well mixed.

  3. Combining the Ingredients:
Remove the bowl from the heat and stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Then, add the eggs and vanilla, stirring continuously until the eggs are completely incorporated.

  4. Mixing the Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the flour mixture to the cocoa mixture in small batches, stirring after each addition until all the flour is combined and the brownie batter is smooth.

  5. Baking the Brownies:
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the pan on the middle rack and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once done, remove the pan from the oven and allow the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack.

  6. Cutting the Brownies:
Once the brownies are cool, lift them out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut them into evenly sized squares.

  7. Preparing the Chocolate Sauce:
To make the chocolate sauce, bring a small pot of water to a boil. In a separate small bowl, combine the chocolate, butter, honey, and salt. Place the bowl over the boiling water and stir until the butter melts and the chocolate is smooth. Gradually add some hot water until the sauce reaches a silky, smooth consistency. Let the sauce cool before use.

  8. Serving:
Arrange the brownie squares on serving plates. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each brownie. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the ice cream and brownies, then sprinkle with crushed walnuts and hazelnuts.

And that’s it! Your delicious brownies with ice cream are ready to be served. Enjoy!
