Chicken steak with mushroom cream sauce and vegetables is a main dish perfect for lunch or dinner, known for its delightful taste and high content of vitamins and proteins. This meal is filling and serves two people.
This recipe is easy to prepare, requiring 15 minutes for preparation and another 15 minutes for cooking.

Chicken Ingredients:
- 2 medium-sized chicken breasts (each weighing about 200 grams)
- 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil
- A pinch of ground ginger
- A pinch of ground cardamom
- A pinch of white pepper
- A pinch of paprika
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon of salt
Vegetable Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 large zucchini, thinly sliced into half circles
- 1 large carrot, thinly sliced into half circles
- 2 tablespoons of corn
- 2 tablespoons of green peas
- ¼ teaspoon of white pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Sauce Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- ½ cup of liquid cooking cream
- 2 large mushrooms, thinly sliced
- ¼ teaspoon of white pepper
- ½ teaspoon of salt (adjust to taste)
Preparation Method:
Preparing the Chicken: In a medium bowl, mix the ground ginger, cardamom, white pepper, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Coat the chicken breasts in this spice mixture, ensuring they are evenly covered on all sides.
Heat a wide, heavy-bottomed skillet and add 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through to cook both sides until they turn light golden.
Preparing the Vegetables: In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the carrots and sauté for 3 minutes until slightly softened, then add the zucchini and continue to sauté until golden. Add the corn, peas, and mushrooms, stirring well for about 2 minutes until lightly golden. Season with white pepper and salt, mix well, then set aside in a serving dish.
Preparing the Sauce: In the same skillet used for the vegetables, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mushroom slices and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in the cooking cream, add salt and pepper, and stir well. Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for 2 minutes, stirring continuously until it becomes creamy and well combined.
Assembling the Dish: On a serving plate, place the cooked chicken breasts in the center and pour the hot mushroom cream sauce over them. Garnish with the sautéed vegetables and serve immediately. This dish pairs well with white rice or fries, depending on your preference.
