Chicken with Soy Sauce – Recipe and Preparation Method
Chicken with soy sauce is a delicious dish known for its rich flavor and high nutritional value. It’s easy to prepare, taking only fifteen minutes to get ready and about seventy-five minutes to cook. Ingredients for Chicken with Soy Sauce:
- 1.5 kg chicken thighs
- 2 large onions, sliced thinly
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 3 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
Preparation Method:
In a deep bowl, combine the chicken thighs, sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, minced garlic, and black pepper. Mix all the ingredients well to ensure the chicken is marinated thoroughly.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for thirty minutes to allow the chicken to absorb the marinade.
Heat vegetable oil in a suitable pot over medium heat. Once hot, add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent, then remove from heat.
Spread the sautéed onions and oil evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
Take the marinated chicken thighs out of the refrigerator and place them along with the marinade in the baking dish.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Once at the right temperature, place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about forty-five minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the dish from the oven and transfer it to a suitable serving plate.
