Main Ingredients for Preparing Egg Sandwich:

Egg Sandwich

  • 2 small burger buns
  • 2 teaspoons of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 4 pieces of hot dog sausage
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • A small pinch of ground black pepper
  • A small pinch of crushed chili flakes
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • ¼ cup of cheddar or mozzarella cheese

Egg Mixture:

  • 2 large eggs
  • A small pinch of salt
  • A small pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of finely chopped parsley

How to Prepare Egg Sandwich:

  1. Prepare the Garlic Butter:

    • In a thick-bottomed skillet, melt half the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir for a few minutes until the garlic releases its aroma, then remove the garlic from the butter.
  2. Toast the Buns:

    • Slice the burger buns in half. Dip the inner side of each half in the garlic-infused butter and let it toast for a few seconds until golden. Repeat with the remaining buns, then arrange them on a serving plate.
  3. Prepare the Hot Dog Mixture:

    • Add the chopped green onion to the skillet and sauté for a few seconds. Slice the hot dog sausages into thin strips and add them to the skillet with the onions, stirring together.
    • After a few minutes, add the chopped tomatoes, green bell pepper, salt, ground black pepper, and chili flakes. Cook on low heat, stirring for 2 minutes. Once done, the hot dog and vegetable mixture is ready.
  4. Assemble the Sandwiches:

    • Evenly distribute the hot dog and vegetable mixture on the bottom halves of the buns. Top with a slice of cheese and sprinkle a moderate amount of shredded cheddar cheese over each.
  5. Cook the Eggs:

    • In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Grease the egg rings lightly with sunflower oil and place them in the skillet.
    • Crack one egg into each ring, sprinkling a little salt, black pepper, and parsley on top. Let the eggs cook for a few minutes until they are slightly set.
    • Remove the rings using a spatula and place the cooked egg on top of the cheddar cheese on each sandwich. Close the sandwich with the top half of the bun.
  6. Serve:

    • Repeat the process with the second sandwich and serve immediately.

And there you have it! A delicious and nutritious egg sandwich, ready to enjoy. We hope you like this recipe!
