Ingredients for Garlic Cheese Bread:

Garlic Cheese Bread

  • 200 grams of mozzarella cheese (more or less, depending on preference)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • ½ cup of olive oil or butter (as preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley (about a quarter of a bunch)
  • Long baguette, scones, or any preferred type of bread
  • A sprinkle of oregano as an alternative to parsley, if available

How to Prepare Garlic Cheese Bread:

  1. Slice the Bread: Use a knife to cut the baguette or any preferred type of bread into evenly sized long and wide slices that can hold the toppings.

  2. Prepare the Mixture: Crush or finely mince the garlic. Mix the minced garlic with olive oil, stirring until well combined.

  3. Add Parsley: Add the finely chopped parsley to the garlic-oil mixture and stir well. You can also add a pinch of salt to the mixture if desired.

  4. Prepare the Baking Tray: Grease the baking tray with olive oil to ensure the bottom of the bread slices turns golden and crispy without burning, remaining soft inside.

  5. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

  6. Arrange the Bread: Arrange the bread slices on the baking tray. Use a brush or spoon to evenly spread the garlic-oil mixture over each piece of bread.

  7. Add Cheese: Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top of each bread slice.

  8. Bake: First, bake with the heat coming from the bottom for about 10 minutes to toast the bread slices. Then move the tray to the upper section of the oven to broil the tops for about 2 minutes, giving the cheese a beautiful golden color.

  9. Serve: Your garlic cheese bread is now ready, showcasing its appealing golden color and glossy cheese topping. Arrange the pieces on a suitable serving plate for your guests and loved ones to enjoy.

Bon appétit!
