Main Ingredients for Grilled Thin Chicken:
- 2 large chicken fillets
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon crushed chili flakes
- ½ teaspoon dried coriander
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
Serving Ingredients:
- Chopped vegetables (sliced tomatoes, onion wings, arugula, etc.)
Preparation Method:
Prepare the Chicken: Slice the chicken fillets horizontally using a sharp knife. Place each piece in a plastic bag and gently pound with a meat mallet until thin. Repeat with all chicken slices.
Mix the Spices: In a large bowl, combine the black pepper, turmeric, salt, cumin, coriander, crushed chili, oregano, paprika, ground cardamom, onion powder, and garlic powder. Stir with a large plastic spoon to mix the spices evenly.
Prepare the Marinade: In a large cup, mix the tomato paste, olive oil, and honey until combined.
Season the Chicken: Sprinkle ¼ of the spice mix and ¼ of the marinade on one side of the chicken slices. Flip the slices and repeat on the other side with another ¼ of the spices and marinade. Return the chicken to the plastic bag and gently pound with the meat mallet again to ensure the flavors are absorbed.
Grill the Chicken: Heat a wide, heavy-bottomed skillet lightly brushed with oil over medium heat. Add the chicken fillets, cooking until they turn light golden brown on both sides.
Serve: Place some chopped vegetables on a serving dish and top with the grilled thin chicken. Serve immediately.
Enjoy this healthy and flavorful Grilled Thin Chicken!
