Preparation Method:
Prepare the Syrup:
- In a suitable pot, combine the sugar and water over medium heat. Allow the mixture to boil until it thickens slightly, then remove it from heat.
- Add the rose water, orange blossom water, and lemon juice. Mix well until combined. Set the syrup aside to cool completely.
Prepare the Knafeh:
- In a bowl, combine the fine semolina, kunafa dough, rose water, and melted butter. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Grease a baking dish with a little butter and spread the kunafa mixture evenly across the bottom.
- Place the baking dish over medium heat, swirling it around until the bottom is fully cooked and the edges turn golden brown, then remove from heat.
