Kors Pastry – Ingredients and Cooking Method

Ingredients for Kors Pastry
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup of sugar
- 2 large tablespoons of sesame seeds
- 2 large tablespoons of yeast
- ½ cup of vegetable oil
- ½ cup of melted butter
- ½ liter of milk
- 1 cup of anise seeds
- 6 cups of flour
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Cooking Method for Kors Pastry
Prepare the Dough:
- In a bowl, mix the following ingredients: vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, yeast, anise seeds, sesame seeds, and melted butter. Stir everything together very well.
Mix with Flour:
- In a deep bowl, place the flour and make a well in the center. Pour the mixture of oil, sugar, and eggs into the flour and mix well.
Add Milk:
- Gradually add the milk to the mixture while stirring until a soft and smooth dough forms. You can add more milk if necessary to achieve the right dough consistency.
Let the Dough Rest:
- Leave the dough to rest and rise.
Shape the Dough:
- After the dough has rested, form medium-sized balls and let them rest for 30 minutes.
Prepare for Baking:
- Brush the tops of the dough balls with a beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

- Preheat the oven and bake the pastries for about 30 minutes until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked.
