Mini Orange Cheesecake – Preparation Method
Mini orange cheesecakes are a type of elegant Western dessert that can be served at events, family gatherings, and friend meetups. They are known for their delightful size and delicious taste. Due to their high calorie content, it is advisable not to overindulge to avoid weight gain.
This recipe is quick and easy to prepare, requiring only 20 minutes of preparation time and is perfect for serving eight people.
Main Ingredients for Mini Orange Cheesecake:
Biscuit Layer Ingredients:
- 250 grams (about half a kilo) of digestive biscuits
- ½ cup of melted butter
Filling Ingredients:
- 2 large oranges, peeled and sectioned
- 1 cup of cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon of finely grated orange zest
- 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of fresh orange juice
Preparation Method:
Preparing the Biscuit Layer: Begin by preparing small cheesecake molds and greasing each mold with butter using a wide brush. Place the biscuits in a food processor and blend on medium speed until finely ground. Transfer the ground biscuits to a medium-sized bowl, pour the melted butter over them, and mix with a large plastic spoon until the butter is evenly distributed.
Spoon a large tablespoon of the biscuit mixture into each mold, flattening it with the spoon to ensure an even surface. Repeat this process for all remaining molds, then place them in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set.
Preparing the Filling: Set aside eight orange sections for garnish and cut the remaining sections into small cubes using a sharp knife. In a blender bowl, add the cream cheese and grated orange zest, blending for 2 minutes until smooth. Add the sweetened condensed milk, orange juice, and lemon juice, then blend for 5 minutes until creamy. Stir in the diced orange pieces using a spoon.
Remove the molds from the fridge and evenly distribute the filling across all the mini cheesecake molds. Return the molds to the fridge and let them chill for about 6 hours (preferably overnight).
Finally, take the molds out of the fridge, garnish each mini cheesecake with an orange section, and serve immediately.
Enjoy your mini orange cheesecakes, hoping they add a delightful touch to your gathering!
