  • 1 cinnamon stick.
  • 1 tablespoon of salt.
  • 2 tablespoons of flour.
  • 1 tablespoon of rice.
  • 1 tablespoon of ghee.

Preparation Method for Mulah Rob:

For Red Mulah Rob:

  1. Wash the tomato, chop it, and set it aside.
  2. Peel and finely chop the onions, then fry them in a pot with oil over low heat until golden brown.
  3. Add the chopped tomato, water, salt, and Maggi cube to the pot, stirring, and then cover and cook until the ingredients are fully cooked.
  4. Once the water has evaporated, remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool. Blend it in a blender, then add the yogurt and peanut butter, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Return the mixture to the pot and let it simmer over low heat. Gradually add the dried okra powder (Weika), stirring until the mixture thickens.
  6. The red Mulah Rob is served with "Kisra" (a type of flatbread) or "Assida."

For White Mulah Rob:

  1. Peel the onion and make slits without cutting it completely to maintain its shape, and do the same with the garlic.

  3. After the mixture has rested overnight, remove it from the fridge, discard the garlic and spices, and add the flour and salt.
  4. Mix the ingredients and cook them over medium heat until they are fully cooked.
  5. Remove the onion, add the ghee, and stir the mixture before serving.
