How to Prepare Musakhan Pie:

  1. Prepare the Filling:

    • Heat ¼ cup of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are soft and golden.
    • Add the chicken cubes and minced garlic, stirring continuously until the chicken is cooked and changes color.
    • Season with salt, paprika, and sumac, stirring well to coat all the ingredients. Turn off the heat, cover the pan, and set the filling aside.
