We will prepare it together in the best and simplest way. Your kids will love it, and it’s a great dessert to serve to guests—they will be impressed!
This dish is well-known and loved by many, and this recipe is enough for four people.
Ingredients:
- A round, thin cake layer, pre-baked and cooled
- One package of crème caramel
- 3 ¼ cups of liquid milk
- Two packets of whipping cream
- One fresh pineapple, sliced
- A handful of walnuts or pistachios for garnish
How to prepare Pineapple Dessert with Crème Caramel:
Prepare clean, round, deep, transparent cups, or you can use a glass Pyrex dish. Cut the cake into circular pieces according to the size and shape of the cups or dish. If using a Pyrex dish, you can cut the dessert after assembling it, as shown in the image.
Place an appropriate amount of cake at the bottom of each cup or dish, then add a slice of pineapple on top and set it aside.
In a deep pot, pour the contents of the crème caramel package and add the three cups of milk, one cup at a time. Stir continuously using a hand whisk until the mixture boils and thickens.
Pour the crème caramel mixture over the cake and pineapple slices, forming a thick layer. Add another layer of pineapple slices on top, then place the cups in the fridge.
Next, use an electric mixer to whip the cream with ¼ cup of cold milk (follow the time instructions on the package) until the cream becomes smooth and thick.
Take the cups out of the fridge and add a layer of the whipped cream, followed by another pineapple slice. Repeat the layering until the cups are full. Sprinkle crushed walnuts or pistachios on top to give the dessert an appealing and appetizing look.
Place the dessert in the fridge for at least one hour, and the Pineapple Dessert with Crème Caramel will be ready to serve.
If you’ve used a Pyrex dish, cut the dessert into neat pieces and serve it on small plates.
