Pizza – The Best and Easiest Way to Prepare Pizza in Just 15 Minutes
Pizza is a classic dish with Italian origins and is a favorite for everyone, especially children. Many people enjoy making it at home. In this guide, we’ll show you how to make delicious, restaurant-quality pizza in just 15 minutes using simple and economical ingredients.
Ingredients: (Serves 6)
For the Dough:
- 2 cups of warm water
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons instant yeast
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- ½ cup oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 cups flour
For the Pizza Sauce:
- 5 medium fresh tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
For the Pizza Toppings:
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Mushrooms and corn
- Olives
- Meat or chicken slices (optional)
Preparation Steps:
To Prepare the Pizza Dough:
In a bowl, combine 2 cups of sifted flour with 4 tablespoons of sugar and 3 tablespoons of instant yeast. Stir lightly.
Heat 2 cups of water on the stove until warm, but not boiling, as boiling water can prevent the dough from rising.
Add the warm water to the flour mixture and blend using an electric mixer until bubbles appear, indicating that the yeast is active.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, the mixture should have doubled in size. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ cup of oil, and 2 tablespoons of yogurt. Mix again with the electric mixer. (Note: The yogurt helps make the dough soft and fluffy.)
Gradually add 4 cups of sifted flour to the mixture and knead well for about 5 minutes until you get a soft and smooth dough.
Place the dough in a large, lightly oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rest in a warm place while you prepare the pizza sauce.
To Prepare the Pizza Sauce:
In a blender, combine 4 chopped tomatoes, 1 onion, and garlic cloves. Blend until smooth.
Add salt, pepper, oregano, and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, and blend again until all ingredients are well combined.
Transfer the sauce to another bowl and set aside.
To Bake the Pizza:
Grease 3 medium-sized baking trays with a little oil to prevent sticking.
Divide the dough into three portions and spread each one onto the trays using your fingertips.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough and top with green pepper slices, corn, and mushrooms.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top and add olives or other desired toppings.
Place each tray in the oven, preheated to 180°C (350°F), and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
Once the edges are golden, remove the pizza from the oven.
