Salmon with Butter Sauce is a delightful seafood dish that can be served as a main course, often enjoyed during lunch. It is especially favored by athletes for its high protein content found in salmon. This dish is easy to prepare and does not require much time or effort.

For the Salmon:
  • 400 grams of salmon
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of finely grated lemon zest
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
For the Butter Sauce:
  • ½ cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of finely grated lemon zest
  • ½ cup of liquid cooking cream
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
For the Potatoes:
  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of salt
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • ¼ cup of finely chopped fresh coriander

Preparation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Salmon:

    • In a large bowl, place the salmon fillets and add salt, black pepper, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and mix everything with your fingers to ensure the salmon is well-coated in the spices.
  2. Cook the Salmon:

    • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, place the salmon in the skillet, skin-side down, along with the rosemary. Cook for 2 minutes until slightly browned, then flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Bake the Salmon:

    • Transfer the salmon to a baking dish and preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the dish in the oven and bake for 5 to 10 minutes.

    • In another large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add finely grated lemon zest and cooking cream, stirring continuously until you achieve a smooth, creamy mixture. Then add black pepper, salt, and lemon juice, stirring for a few minutes until well combined.
