- ½ cup of fresh lemon juice

Steps to Prepare Lebanese Lentil Soup with Lemon:
Cook the Lentils:
- Place a pot on the stove and add the black lentils, covering them with water. Boil the lentils for at least 20 minutes, or until they double in size.
Add the Chard and Potatoes:
- After the lentils are cooked, add the chopped green chard and diced potatoes to the pot. Continue boiling until the potatoes become tender, giving the soup a thicker consistency.
Prepare the Aromatics:
