Meat Ingredients:
- 500 grams of meat, cut into medium-sized pieces
- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 6 small tablespoons of olive oil
- ½ tablespoon of salt and black pepper
Tomato Sauce Ingredients:
- 8 tomatoes, finely chopped
- ½ tablespoon of garlic powder, thyme, and tomato paste dissolved in ½ cup of water
- ½ teaspoon of salt and black pepper
- ¼ cup of water
Creamy Eggplant Ingredients:
- ½ a pack of cooking cream
- 1 eggplant, washed
- 4 small tablespoons of butter
- ½ tablespoon of lemon juice, black pepper, and salt
- 2 small tablespoons of white flour
- 1 bunch of parsley, chopped
Preparation Method for the Turkish Sultan’s Dish
Prepare the Eggplant:
- Make slits in the eggplant and cover it with aluminum foil. Place it on a baking sheet and bake it in the oven at a moderate temperature for about 20 minutes until it turns golden.
- Remove the eggplant from the oven and let it cool. Once cooled, scoop out the flesh using a large spoon.
Prepare the Tomato Sauce:
- In a pot, place the tomatoes and water over heat, stirring continuously. Let it cook for about 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the black pepper, tomato paste, salt, and garlic powder. Stir the mixture well, then remove it from the heat and set it aside.
Cook the Meat:
- In a separate pot, heat the olive oil and add the onions, salt, garlic, black pepper, and meat. Stir for 5 minutes.
- Add thyme and the tomato sauce to the pot. Mix everything well, cover, and let it simmer on low heat for 40 minutes.
Prepare the Creamy Eggplant:
- In a new pot, melt the butter and add the eggplant flesh along with salt, flour, lemon juice, and black pepper. Mix these ingredients thoroughly.
- Add the cooking cream, cover, and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Assembling the Dish:
- Remove the eggplant mixture from the heat and pour it into a serving dish, creating a well in the center.
- Place the tomato and meat mixture in the well, and garnish the dish with chopped parsley.
