  • 500 grams of shrimp with shells
  • 8 cups of water

  • 2 bay leaves

How to Prepare Boiled Shrimp:

  1. Clean the shrimp thoroughly, removing its shell and the black vein.

  3. Once the mixture reaches a boil, strain the broth into another pot and discard the shrimp shells.

  4. Place the strained broth back over medium heat and add the peeled shrimp. Boil the shrimp for about 4 minutes until fully cooked.

  5. Drain the shrimp from the broth and immediately transfer it to a bowl of ice water to cool.
