Ingredients for Brown Steak with Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped.
- 4 cloves of crushed garlic.
- 1 green chili pepper, finely chopped.
- Salt to taste.
- Black pepper to taste.
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
- ½ cup of Worcestershire sauce.
- ¼ cup of brown sugar.
- 2 tablespoons of mustard.
- 1 teaspoon of hot sauce.
- 550 grams of steak, cut into pieces.
- 4 tablespoons of white vinegar.
- ¼ cup of water.
How to Prepare Brown Steak with Sauce:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic, stirring occasionally until softened.
- Add the chopped chili, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, mustard, brown sugar, vinegar, water, black pepper, and salt. Stir all ingredients together until well combined.
- Once the mixture comes to a boil, remove the pot from the heat. Use an electric blender to puree the ingredients until the sauce has a smooth consistency.
- Return the pot to the heat and continue stirring until the sauce thickens.
- In another pot, heat the remaining oil over medium heat. Add the steak pieces along with black pepper and salt. Cook the steak, flipping the pieces until browned on all sides.
