For the Cake:

  • 3 medium-sized eggs (at room temperature)
  • 1 ½ cups of white flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 small container of yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla

For the Topping:

  • 200 grams of yogurt
  • 200 grams of cream cheese
  • Cold syrup (optional, to taste)

Preparation Method for Cheese Cake:

  1. Preparing the Cake Batter:
    Sift the flour and baking powder into a suitable bowl, then mix them well to combine.
    In a stand mixer, beat the eggs thoroughly. Add the vegetable oil and vanilla, and continue mixing until smooth and well combined.
    Gradually add the yogurt, sugar, and cream cheese, mixing well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
    Add the flour and baking powder mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until the batter is smooth and uniform.

  2. Baking the Cake:
    Pour the batter into a greased cake pan or baking tray. Set aside.

  3. Preparing the Topping:
    In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and yogurt until well combined and smooth.
    Pour this mixture over the cake batter, spreading it evenly across the top.

  4. Baking the Cake:
    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Once heated, place the cake in the oven and bake until fully cooked and golden on top.

  5. Finishing the Cake:
    Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and immediately pour cold syrup over it while it's still hot, if desired.
