Ingredients for Chicken and Vegetable Tagine:
- 500 grams of mixed frozen vegetables.
- 1 boiled chicken breast, cut into cubes.
- 1 medium-sized tomato, diced.
- 2 cups of chicken broth.
- 1/3 cup of milk or cooking cream.
- 1/4 cup of thinly sliced mushrooms.
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom.
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground rosemary.
- 1 bay leaf.
- Grated cheese (as desired).
- A small amount of butter or vegetable oil for greasing the baking dish.
How to Prepare Chicken and Vegetable Tagine:
Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken broth, mixed vegetables, milk (or cooking cream), sliced mushrooms, diced tomatoes, and chicken cubes.
- Stir all the ingredients together until they are well mixed.
Seasoning:
- Add the ground cardamom, black pepper, salt, bay leaf, and ground rosemary to the mixture.
- Stir again to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Prepare the Baking Dish:
- Lightly grease a baking dish (or a Pyrex dish) with butter or vegetable oil.
