It's easy to prepare, requiring just 20 minutes for preparation and an additional 40 minutes for cooking.   • 3 cloves of minced garlic.
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin.
  • 500 grams of lean ground beef.
  • 1 beef bouillon cube.
  • 400 grams of chopped tomatoes.
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano.
  • 2 teaspoons of tomato paste.
  • 1 can (400 grams) of canned red kidney beans, drained.
  • 1 can (400 grams) of canned chickpeas, drained.
  • 1 can (340 grams) of canned whole sweet corn, drained.
  • Cooked long-grain rice (optional, as desired).
  • Sour cream (optional, as desired).
  • Cheddar cheese (optional, as desired).

Steps to Prepare Chili Con Carne:

  1. Sauté the onions:
    Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened.

  2. Add spices and vegetables:
    Add the red bell pepper, cumin, chili powder, and paprika. Stir continuously for about 5 minutes to combine the flavors.

  3. Cook the ground beef:
    In another pan over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until the color changes, stirring occasionally. Then, add the onion and pepper mixture to the beef and mix everything together until the beef is fully cooked.

  4. Add broth and simmer:
    Dissolve the beef bouillon cube in 300 ml of hot water and pour it over the beef mixture. Stir to combine.

  5. Add tomatoes and seasoning:
    Add the chopped tomatoes, dried oregano, black pepper, salt, and tomato paste. Stir well and reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

  6. Add beans and corn:
    Add the canned red kidney beans, chickpeas, and sweet corn. Stir and allow the mixture to cook for another 10 minutes until the flavors are well combined.

  7. Let the dish rest:
    After cooking, cover the pot and let the chili rest for about 10 minutes to enhance the flavors.
