Ingredients for Creamy Cauliflower Salad (Serves 4):
- Salt to taste.
- Ground black pepper to taste.
- 500 grams of cauliflower florets.
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream.
- 2 tablespoons of horseradish.
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
- 2 tablespoons of minced garlic.
- 1 tablespoon of white apple cider vinegar.
- 2 celery stalks, chopped into small pieces.
Preparation of Creamy Cauliflower Salad:
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a tablespoon of salt.
Add the cauliflower florets to the boiling water and cook until tender. You should be able to easily insert a knife into the cauliflower. This should take about 8 to 10 minutes.
Once cooked, place the cauliflower on a baking tray lined with a towel or paper towels to absorb any excess water. Allow the cauliflower to cool for about 30 minutes.
While the cauliflower is cooling, prepare the dressing. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the sour cream, horseradish, mayonnaise, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and chopped celery. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and whisk until smooth to form the dressing.
Once the cauliflower has cooled, toss it in a large bowl with the prepared dressing. Add a light sprinkle of salt and black pepper to taste for additional flavor.
Your creamy cauliflower salad is now ready! Serve it immediately in a serving dish and enjoy this delicious and healthy salad with family or guests. Bon appétit!
