  • 1500 grams of yogurt.
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
  • 1 tablespoon of salt.
  • ½ teaspoon of white pepper.
  • Lamb pieces (optional, as desired).
  • 1 medium onion (chopped).
  • 4 cardamom pods.
  • 4 bay leaves.
  • Black pepper (to taste).
  • Salt (to taste).

How to Prepare Green Fava Beans with Yogurt:

  1. Cook the Lamb:
    Wash the lamb pieces thoroughly and place them in a pot over medium heat, covering them with water.
    Once the water begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and add the chopped onion, black pepper, salt, bay leaves, and cardamom pods.

  2. Let the mixture simmer on low heat until the lamb is fully cooked, which should take about 45 minutes.

  3. Remove the onion, cardamom, and bay leaves from the pot, then add the green fava beans to the lamb. Let the mixture cook until the beans are tender.
