Main Ingredients for Hollandaise Chicken:

Marinade Ingredients:

Hollandaise Chicken

    5 boneless chicken thighs
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    2 cloves of garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
    1 tablespoon of oregano
    1 tablespoon of paprika
    1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
    1 tablespoon of sugar
½ teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
    1 tablespoon of olive oil
    1 teaspoon of butter

Sauce Ingredients:

    1 cup of butter
    2 large egg yolks
¼ cup of apple cider vinegar

Garnish Ingredients:

A small amount of sesame seeds
2 sprigs of green onions, finely chopped

How to Prepare Hollandaise Chicken:

Prepare the Marinade: In a large, deep bowl, combine the onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, oregano, paprika, cinnamon, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil. Stir the mixture well using a large plastic spoon.

Marinate the Chicken: Coat the chicken thighs with the marinade, ensuring that each piece is fully covered. Wrap the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

Grill the Chicken: Heat an electric grill and add the butter. Once the butter melts and heats up, place the marinated chicken thighs on the grill. Cook the chicken for several minutes until it turns golden, then flip it over to cook the other side. Once both sides are cooked, remove the chicken and set it aside on a serving plate.

Prepare the Hollandaise Sauce: In a small pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Meanwhile, prepare a double boiler by placing a pot of water on medium heat. When the water starts to simmer, place a heatproof bowl over the pot. Pour the melted butter into the bowl and add the egg yolks, stirring continuously until the yolks dissolve and the mixture thickens. Finally, add the apple cider vinegar, continuing to stir for a few more minutes until the sauce is smooth and well combined.

Serve the Dish: Pour the hollandaise sauce over the grilled chicken thighs. Sprinkle sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions on top.

Now your Hollandaise Chicken is ready to serve! Enjoy it while hot with your family or guests. Bon appétit!
