- 1 medium red chili pepper.
- Black pepper (to taste).
- ¼ teaspoon of cumin.
- 1 tablespoon of dried coriander.
- ¼ teaspoon of turmeric.
- ½ cup of red lentils.
- 1 large tomato, finely chopped.
- Salt (to taste).
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
How to Prepare Kommonia with Tripe:
Boil the Tripe and Intestines:
- Place a large amount of water in a pot over medium heat. Add the tripe and intestines and let them boil until fully cooked (about 30 minutes).
Sauté the Tripe and Intestines:
- In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Remove the boiled tripe and intestines from the water and place them in the pan.
