Lasagna Dough Recipe – How to Prepare Homemade Lasagna Dough

Ingredients for Lasagna Dough:
- 200 grams of white flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of table salt
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Drinking water (as needed)
Ingredients for the Filling:
- 500 grams of minced meat
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium-sized tomato, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- ½ teaspoon of mixed spices
- ½ teaspoon of table salt
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Ingredients for Garnish:
- ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ bunch of fresh mint leaves
Preparation Steps for Homemade Lasagna Dough:
Preparing the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the white flour, eggs, olive oil, and salt. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
- Gradually add water while mixing until you achieve a soft, elastic dough. Let the dough rest for 45 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal, medium-sized portions. Roll out each portion on a floured surface until you get thin, rectangular lasagna sheets.
- Set the lasagna sheets aside for 30 minutes. Then, boil them in a large pot of salted water.
- Once the lasagna sheets rise to the top of the pot, remove them and drain the water. Let them dry completely.
Preparing the Lasagna Filling:
- Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and stir occasionally until they soften.
- Add the minced meat, chopped tomatoes, mixed spices, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper. Stir the ingredients until they are well combined and fully cooked.
- Grease a baking dish with a little oil. Start by placing a layer of lasagna sheets at the bottom, followed by a layer of the minced meat filling.
