Main Ingredients for Preparing Marble Cake:
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla (or vanilla powder if not available)
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup of cold milk
Cocoa Mixture Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of plain cocoa powder
Sugar Glaze Ingredients:
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- ¼ cup of milk

How to Prepare Marble Cake:
Prepare the cake pan: Grease a traditional cake pan with a hole in the center using a small amount of vegetable shortening or butter. Dust the pan lightly with flour and set it aside.
Mix the dry ingredients: In a large, deep bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cream the butter and sugar: In the mixer, add the butter and sugar. Mix on medium speed for about 3 minutes until the butter turns a light golden color. Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, beating each egg until fully incorporated before adding the next.
Add the vanilla and dry ingredients: Add the vanilla to the mixture and beat for 2 more minutes. Then, alternate adding the flour mixture and milk in stages, mixing well after each addition until all the ingredients are combined into a smooth and cohesive batter.

Apply the glaze: Pour half of the white sugar glaze over the surface of the cake in an even layer. Add cocoa powder to the remaining glaze and whisk again until smooth. Pour the chocolate glaze over the cake, creating a marbled design with the white glaze for a beautiful marble cake appearance.
