  • 500 grams of finely ground beef
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 6 large eggs
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • ½ teaspoon of mixed spices
  • 2 tablespoons of butter or vegetable oil
  • Bread (as needed)

How to Prepare Meat and Egg Sandwich:

  1. Sauté the onions:
    Heat the oil in a suitable pot over medium heat until it warms up. Add half of the grated onion and stir occasionally until it softens.

  2. Cook the meat:
    Add the ground beef along with the ground cinnamon, black pepper, mixed spices, and ground cardamom. Stir the ingredients occasionally until they are well combined and the meat starts to cook.

  3. Add more onions and season:
    Add the remaining grated onion and some salt to the pot, and stir the ingredients until fully combined.

  4. Infuse with smoky flavor:
    Light a piece of charcoal and place it inside a piece of foil. Drizzle a few drops of oil onto the charcoal.

  5. Smoke the meat:
    Place the foil with the charcoal inside the pot of meat and cover it for about five minutes to let the smoky flavor infuse.

  6. Add the eggs:
    Remove the charcoal and foil from the pot. Add the eggs, one by one, to the mixture. Season with black pepper and salt to taste, and stir everything together until well combined.

  7. Bake the mixture:
    Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Once the oven reaches the desired temperature, place the pot in the oven and leave it for ten minutes to allow the ingredients to cook fully.

  8. Assemble the sandwiches:
    Remove the pot from the oven. Place a suitable amount of the meat and egg mixture inside each loaf of bread, roll it up into a sandwich, and arrange it on a serving plate.
