Mushroom and Asparagus Tart – Recipe for Preparing Mushroom and Asparagus Tart

Mushroom and Asparagus Tart is known for its delicious taste and high nutritional value. It’s also easy to prepare, taking about 30 minutes for preparation and another 50 minutes for baking. Here are the ingredients and the preparation method for four people.

Ingredients:

Mushroom and Asparagus Tart

 

  • 1 sheet of shortcrust pastry or tart dough
  • 1 bunch of fresh asparagus
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200 grams of fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 50 ml of whole milk
  • 200 ml of cooking cream
  • Salt (to taste)
  • White pepper (to taste)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Boil the Asparagus:

    • Fill a pot with water and add a pinch of salt. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
    • Add the asparagus and cook for about 15 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Mushrooms:

    • In another pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until softened and golden.
    • Add the mushroom slices and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Prepare the Sauce:

    • Pour the cooking cream and milk into the mushroom mixture, stirring well to combine.
    • Season with salt and white pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer on medium heat until it starts to thicken, about 5 minutes.
  4. Assemble the Tart:

    • Lightly grease a tart pan with a bit of oil and spread the tart dough evenly across the base.
    • Arrange the boiled asparagus on top of the dough, then pour the mushroom and cream mixture over the top.
  5. Add the Cheese:

    • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese generously over the entire tart.
  6. Bake:

    • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • Place the tart in the oven and bake for 35 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is set.
  7. Serve:

    • Remove the tart from the oven and place it on a serving dish.
