  • 1 kilogram of boneless fish.
  • 1 cup of oil.
  • Black pepper to taste.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Dried mint to taste.
  • Dried coriander to taste.
  • Fish spices to taste.
  • Paprika to taste.
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice.
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper paste.
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic.
  • Cashews to taste.
  • Almonds to taste.
  • Walnuts to taste.
  • Pine nuts to taste.
  • 200 grams of tahini.
  • Water (as needed).

How to Prepare Palestinian Spicy Fish:

  1. Heat the oil in a suitable pot over medium heat. Add the fish and fry it, turning occasionally, until it is cooked through on all sides.

  2. Remove the fish from the pot and place it in a suitable baking tray.

  3. Sprinkle the cashews, almonds, pine nuts, and walnuts over the fish. Then, season with salt, paprika, dried mint, black pepper, fish spices, and dried coriander.

Preparing the Sauce:

  1. In a bowl, combine the tahini, minced garlic, salt, pepper paste, and lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well until fully combined.

  2. Gradually add water while continuing to mix until you achieve a smooth, sauce-like consistency.

  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the fish in the baking tray.

  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Once the oven reaches the desired temperature, place the tray inside and bake until the top of the dish becomes golden brown.
