How to Prepare Spinach Stew:
Sauté the Onions and Garlic: Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Once hot, add the finely chopped onion and sauté, stirring occasionally, until it softens and starts to turn golden.
Add the Garlic: Stir in the crushed garlic and cook with the onion until the garlic becomes fragrant.
Cook the Meat: Add the ground meat to the pot, stirring occasionally until it begins to brown. Season with black pepper, salt, and cumin, and stir well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
Cook the Meat Further: Cover the pot and allow the meat to cook fully, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Add the Spinach: Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until the leaves begin to wilt and are fully cooked.
Add the Chickpeas: Mix in the cooked chickpeas, stirring until they are well combined with the spinach and meat mixture.
Simmer the Stew: Add enough boiling water to cover the mixture. Cover the pot and let it simmer on low heat until all ingredients are fully cooked and tender.
