Ingredients for Vegetable Samosa:
Dough Ingredients:
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ cup of vegetable oil
- Drinking water (as needed)
Filling Ingredients:
- 1 cup of peas
- 1 cup of diced carrots
- 1 cup of diced potatoes
- 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- ½ teaspoon of mixed spices
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- A generous amount of vegetable oil for frying
How to Prepare Vegetable Samosa:
Preparing the Dough:
- In a deep bowl, mix the flour with the oil and salt until combined.
- Gradually add water while kneading until a soft, smooth dough forms.
- Set the dough aside to rest.
Preparing the Filling:
- In a pot, add peas, carrots, and potatoes, and cover them with water.
- Cook the vegetables until they are halfway cooked, then drain and set them aside.
