  • 1 kilogram of chicken breast (or skinned chicken thighs)
  • ⅔ cup of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of ground coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Preparation Method for Chicken Tikka:

  1. Clean the chicken breasts and rub them with lemon juice.
  2. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, red chili powder, grated ginger, salt, ground coriander, tomato paste, black pepper, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, coating the pieces well. Place the bowl in the refrigerator to marinate overnight.
  4. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and arrange the chicken breasts on the tray.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Once heated, bake the chicken for an hour until fully cooked.
  6. Place the chicken under the broiler for about 5 minutes to give it a golden color.
