  • 500 grams of lamb (or substitute with shrimp or chicken)
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 12 taco shells or tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 can of red beans
  • 1 can of corn

Ingredients for Taco Sauce:

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon hot chili powder
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Preparation Method for Mexican Beef Tacos:

1. Preparing the Taco Sauce:

  • In a bowl, mix the garlic powder, vinegar, sugar, cumin, salt, paprika, mustard, hot chili powder, and olive oil. Stir until smooth and well combined.

2. Preparing the Meat:

  • Marinate the lamb (or shrimp or chicken) in the taco sauce for 1 hour.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over low heat. Add the marinated meat and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the chopped onion, salt, and black pepper, stirring occasionally until the liquids evaporate. Remove from heat.

3. Assembling the Tacos:

  • In a bowl, mix the green bell pepper, tomatoes, corn, red beans, and cilantro until well combined.
  • Place a tortilla on a flat surface, add a portion of the veggie mix in the center, top with the meat mixture, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. Roll up the tortilla.
  • Grill the taco sandwiches for about 2 minutes on each side until warm and crispy.
