Mexican Beef Taco Sandwich – Recipe and Preparation Method

Ingredients for Mexican Beef Tacos:
- 500 grams of lamb (or substitute with shrimp or chicken)
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 12 taco shells or tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 can of red beans
- 1 can of corn
Ingredients for Taco Sauce:
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon hot chili powder
- ¼ cup olive oil
Preparation Method for Mexican Beef Tacos:
1. Preparing the Taco Sauce:
- In a bowl, mix the garlic powder, vinegar, sugar, cumin, salt, paprika, mustard, hot chili powder, and olive oil. Stir until smooth and well combined.
2. Preparing the Meat:
- Marinate the lamb (or shrimp or chicken) in the taco sauce for 1 hour.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over low heat. Add the marinated meat and sauté for about 5 minutes.
