Ingredients for Japanese Salmon Sushi
For Preparing the Rice:
- 250 grams of Japanese rice.
- 300 ml of water.
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
- 1 tablespoon of white sugar.
For the Sushi Rolls:
- 1 pack of nori sheets.
- 1 medium-sized cucumber, sliced into long, thin strips.
- 1 avocado, sliced into long, thin strips.
- 1 medium-sized carrot, sliced into long, thin strips.
- 100 grams of salmon, sliced into long, thin strips.
For Serving:
- Soy sauce (to taste).
- Wasabi (to taste).
Preparation Steps for Japanese Salmon Sushi
Preparing the Rice:
- Wash the rice thoroughly several times, then place it with the water in a suitable pot over medium heat.
- Add the salt, sugar, and vinegar to the pot. Cover and let it cook for 15 minutes until the rice is done.
- Remove the pot from the heat and transfer the rice to a suitable bowl to cool.
Preparing the Sushi Rolls:
- Place a sheet of nori on a sushi bamboo mat. Wet your hands with water and spread a layer of rice evenly over the nori sheet.
