- 1 tablespoon of red pepper paste.
- ¾ cup of vegetable oil.
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder.

- 2 medium-sized tomatoes, diced.
- 2 medium-sized onions, diced.
- ¼ cup of chopped parsley.

How to Prepare Lentil Kibbeh
Step 1: Cook the Lentils
- In a suitable pot, combine 4½ cups of water with 1 teaspoon of salt. Add the lentils and cook over medium heat until fully tender and the water is absorbed (be careful to avoid sticking).
- Remove the pot from heat.
Step 2: Prepare the Kibbeh Mixture
- Add the fine bulgur, red pepper paste, cumin, and red chili powder to the cooked lentils. Stir the mixture well, cover, and let it cool completely.
- In another pot, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add the sautéed onions and chopped parsley to the lentil and bulgur mixture. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small patties. The lentil kibbeh patties are now ready.
Step 3: Prepare the Salad
- Combine the diced tomatoes, onions, and chopped parsley in a bowl. Mix well.
Step 4: Serve and Garnish
