  • 2 medium-sized carrots, boiled and chopped.
  • 3 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and cut into cubes.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 4 tablespoons of white flour.
  • 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced.
  • 2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped.
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped.
  • 1 hot chili pepper, chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon of mixed spices.
  • Salt (to taste).
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder.
  • 1 teaspoon of ground coriander.
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • 1/2 cup of tomato paste.
  • 2 cups of water.

Preparation Steps for Meqlqal Lahm

  1. Prepare the Meat:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine the meat cubes and white flour, ensuring the meat is evenly coated.
  2. Cook the Meat:

    • Melt the butter in a large pot over high heat. Add the coated meat and stir until the meat is browned and partially cooked.
  3. Add Aromatics:
