  1. Cook the Meat Mixture:

    • Heat the oil in a deep pan and sauté the chopped onion until soft and translucent.
    • Add the ground beef and cook, stirring, until browned.

    • Cover the pot and cook on low heat for about 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the rice to fully cook.
  4. Flip and Serve:

    • Once cooked, carefully flip the pot onto a large serving dish. Gently lift the pot to reveal the layered maqluba.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
