For the Crispy Chicken:

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups of liquid milk
  • 2 tablespoons of red vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika
  • 3 cups of cornflakes
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • Frying oil (as needed)

For the Waffle Batter:

  • 2 cups of liquid milk
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs (separating yolks and whites)
  • ⅓ cup of oil
  • 1 tablespoon of red vinegar

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup of warm honey
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of onion powder

Preparation Method for Crispy Chicken Waffles:

Preparing the Chicken:

  1. Mix the liquid milk with vinegar in a bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, pour the mixture into a sealed plastic bag along with salt, chicken breasts, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper.

  2. Seal the bag tightly and shake it well to coat the chicken with the marinade. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.

  4. Dip the marinated chicken into the dry flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with crushed cornflakes.

  5. Heat enough oil in a deep frying pan and fry the chicken breasts until they turn golden brown and crispy.


Preparing the Waffles:

  1. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it with cooking spray.

  2. Whisk the egg whites in a separate bowl until fluffy and set aside.
