- 1 medium eggplant, sliced into rounds
- 2 medium potatoes, sliced into rounds

- 2 medium green bell peppers, sliced into rounds
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced into rounds
For the Meat Layer:
- 250g ground or cubed beef, lightly boiled
For the Sauce:
- 4 teaspoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups water
For Cooking:
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation Method for Iraqi Tebsi with Meat:
Step 1: Preparing the Vegetables
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown, then transfer them to a baking dish.
- Fry the eggplant slices until soft, then layer them over the onions in the dish.
- Fry the potato slices until golden and arrange them over the eggplant.
- Lightly sauté the bell pepper slices for about 2 minutes, then add them to the baking dish.
Step 2: Preparing the Meat
- Lightly boil the beef for a few minutes, then arrange it over the vegetable layers.
- Place the sliced tomatoes on top.
Step 3: Preparing the Sauce
- In a bowl, mix tomato paste with water until fully dissolved.
- Add coriander, curry powder, black pepper, and salt, stirring well to combine.
