Latte Cake – Recipe for Latte Cake – How to Prepare Latte Cake

Latte Cake is a delicious and creamy dessert, perfect for coffee lovers. Its rich coffee flavor combined with the smooth texture of dairy products makes it an ideal choice for gatherings, buffets, or special occasions.

This dessert has been called "The Celebrities' Cake" or "The Drama Cake", due to a well-known controversy between two influencers during a commercial shoot for it.

Since this recipe relies heavily on dairy products such as cream, cheese, and condensed milk, it provides several health benefits, including calcium for bone health, potassium for blood pressure regulation, and proteins for daily energy needs.

Here, we present an easy and flexible way to prepare Latte Cake at home.

Ingredients for Latte Cake:

Latte Cake

  • Tea biscuits (honey or chocolate flavor)
  • 6 pieces of Kiri cheese
  • 2 cans of cream
  • 1 packet of Dream Whip
  • 1 packet of caramel pudding mix (Crème Caramel)
  • 2 packets of instant latte mix
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup liquid milk (for dipping biscuits)

For Decoration:

  • Crushed biscuit powder (chocolate or honey-flavored, as preferred)

Preparation Method for Latte Cake:

Step 1: Preparing the Cream Mixture

  1. In a blender or food processor, add:
    • 2 cans of cream
    • 1 packet of Dream Whip
    • 1 packet of caramel pudding mix
    • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
    • 6 pieces of Kiri cheese
    • 1 packet of instant latte mix
  2. Blend until you get a smooth and creamy mixture.

Step 2: Preparing the Biscuit Layers

  1. Dissolve the second packet of instant latte mix in ½ cup of liquid milk and pour into a shallow dish.
  2. Dip the tea biscuits in the latte mixture for a few seconds, ensuring they absorb some liquid but do not become too soggy.

Step 3: Assembling the Cake

  1. In a Pyrex or serving dish, arrange a layer of soaked biscuits to cover the bottom.
  2. Pour and spread a layer of the prepared cream mixture over the biscuits.
  3. Repeat the process by adding another layer of soaked biscuits, followed by another layer of cream mixture.
  4. Continue layering until you have at least 3 layers or until the ingredients are used up.
  5. Ensure the final top layer is the cream mixture.

Step 4: Decoration and Chilling

  1. Sprinkle the top with crushed biscuit powder (either chocolate or honey-flavored, as per preference).
  2. Place the Latte Cake in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to set properly.

Serving the Cake

  1. Once chilled, slice and serve with a cup of coffee for the ultimate latte experience.

Enjoy this rich, creamy, and coffee-infused dessert!
