- 1 kg whole fish, cleaned and dried

- 2 medium green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
For the Marinade:
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons salt (or to taste)
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preparation Method for Moroccan Fish Tagine:
Step 1: Preparing the Vegetables
- Wash and slice the potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and tomatoes into either round or strip shapes (as preferred).
- Arrange the vegetable slices in a baking dish or a tagine pot.
Step 2: Preparing the Marinade
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, cilantro, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Step 3: Marinating the Fish and Vegetables
- Coat the whole fish inside and out with the prepared marinade.
