- 300 grams of sausages, sliced
- 2 cups of grated cheese
How to Prepare Sausage Pizza:
For the Dough:
In a deep bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and bread improver. Stir the mixture well, then make a well in the center. Add the egg, yogurt, and oil into the well, and mix the ingredients together.
To test the yeast, place the required amount of yeast in a cup, add ½ teaspoon of sugar, stir, and add warm water. Cover the cup and let it sit for 10 minutes until it froths and doubles in size.
Once the yeast is ready, add it to the flour mixture. Stir well and knead the dough by hand, adding a little water as needed until the dough becomes soft and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and a thick cloth, and let it rise for about an hour until it has doubled in size.
For the Sauce:
Heat some oil in a pan, add the finely chopped onions and green bell peppers, and sauté until the onions are softened.
Add the tomato sauce, then season with salt, black pepper, red pepper, and thyme. Stir the mixture and let it simmer over low heat until it thickens.
Remove the sauce from heat and set it aside to cool.
Assembling the Pizza:
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease a baking pan or use a flat surface dusted with flour.
Roll out the dough on the prepared surface or pan, then spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
Scatter the sliced mushrooms, red and green bell peppers, tomato slices, and sausages over the pizza. In each bell pepper circle, add some olives, either green or black.
Place the pizza in the oven and bake until the bottom of the pizza is fully browned, about 20-25 minutes.
Remove the pizza from the oven, sprinkle the grated cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
Slice the pizza and serve hot on a suitable serving plate.
Enjoy this delicious sausage pizza with your favorite beverage!
