Tuna and Cheese Pasta – How to Prepare Tuna and Cheese Pasta
Tuna and cheese pasta is one of the most delicious and enjoyable dishes, known for its quick and easy preparation, along with its amazing taste. Its ingredients also provide significant nutritional benefits, as it contains tuna, which is rich in essential elements for building the human body, including phosphorus.

Ingredients for Tuna and Cheese Pasta:
- 1 large pack of pasta
- 1/4 block of butter (around 4 tablespoons)
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 3 cups of fresh milk
- 1 1/2 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of grated Kashkawan cheese
- 1 medium-sized can of tuna, drained of oils and cut into small pieces
- 1 cup of corn
- 1/2 cup of peas
- 2 tablespoons of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped parsley
- Salt, to taste
Preparation Method for Tuna and Cheese Pasta:
Boiling the Pasta:
- Start by adding a suitable amount of water to a deep pot. Place the pot over medium heat until it starts to boil. Add a little vegetable oil and salt to the water.
- Drop the pasta into the boiling water and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
- Once the pasta is cooked, remove it from the heat and drain it in a colander. Rinse it with cold water and set it aside to cool and dry.
Making the Sauce:
- In a deep pot, add the required amount of butter and place it over low heat until the butter melts.
- Add the flour and stir it with the butter quickly for about 2 minutes to ensure the ingredients mix well.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Remove the pot from the heat, then gradually pour in the milk while continuously stirring to ensure the mixture blends smoothly.
- Place the pot back on the heat and stir the mixture for about 5 minutes, or until it starts to boil and thickens to a creamy consistency.
Adding the Cheese and Flavorings:
- Once the mixture has thickened, remove the pot from the heat and add the grated Kashkawan cheese, salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Add the cooked and cooled pasta, tuna, corn, peas, and half a cup of warm water. Stir everything together until the ingredients are well combined.
Baking the Dish:
- Pour the mixture into an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the top with the grated mozzarella cheese.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.
Final Touch:
- Once done, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle finely chopped parsley and mint leaves over the top.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious tuna and cheese pasta!
