For the Steak:
- 500 grams of beef steak
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 6 cloves of garlic
- Rosemary (to taste)
For the Sauce:
- 4 cloves of minced garlic
- 4 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups of fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
How to Prepare Beef Steak with Mushroom Sauce:
Preparing the Steak:
- Take the steak out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.
- Season both sides of the steak with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the steak in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, until browned.
- Reduce the heat and add the butter, garlic, and rosemary. Once the butter melts, baste the steak with the mixture for about 2 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
