  • 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
  • 1 can of tuna, cut into medium pieces.
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • 3 potatoes, boiled and cut into medium cubes.
  • 3 carrots, boiled and cut into medium cubes.
  • 1 cup of green beans, chopped into medium pieces and slightly boiled.
  • 5 tablespoons of vinegar.
  • 4 beets, boiled and chopped.
  • 1 cup of canned corn.
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise (for dressing).

How to Prepare Macédoine Salad

Step 1: Preparing the Base

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled rice, tuna, corn, mayonnaise, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Mix the ingredients well, ensuring an even distribution of flavors.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a serving mold or a deep dish, pressing it firmly to form a structured base.
  4. Cover the dish and refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow it to set.

Step 2: Preparing the Vegetables

  1. Wash, peel, and cut all vegetables into medium-sized, even cubes.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Boil the potatoes first for about 15 minutes, then drain them.
  4. Repeat the boiling process separately for carrots and green beans, making sure each vegetable is tender but not overcooked.
